WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – A private plane made a crash landing at Purdue University Airport on Thursday.

University officials say only the pilot was aboard the single-engine aircraft when it crashed at about 5:36 p.m.

According to officials, that person suffered slight injuries, but he refused medical treatment.

Officials say the plane was not affiliated with the Purdue Aviation Technology program, so no student was involved.
