1 in critical condition after shooting on Indy’s south side

INDIANAPOLIS — A person is in critical condition after being shot on the south side of Indianapolis, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Around 9:30 p.m. Monday, police say an individual driving the victim saw a police officer at South Keystone Avenue and National Avenue and stopped for help.

Police have not released any further information.
