4 Things You Need to Know about Northside Kitchenette
- Yelpers rave about the Morning Kicker Omelette. Stuffed with avocado, cheddar, bacon, baby spinach, tomato and horseradish sour cream, it’s a Yelper favorite!
- If you’re in need of that extra kick to start your day, order their signature Bloody Mary or mimosa.
- If you have a hankering for biscuits and gravy, better known as their ‘kitchen”ette” sink’ dish, come on Saturday or Sunday because it is only available on the weekends.
- Grab breakfast or lunch Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Sundays, the restaurant closes an hour earlier at 2 p.m.
“We have people who eat breakfast and lunch here five times a week. They hold business luncheons and bring their families here,” says Harlan-Oprisu.
Everything is made by scratch. The chefs add in local products from The Scholars Inn and Rene’s Bakery to make these dishes even more flavorful.
“We work hard to make sure the food quality we put out is great,” adds says Harlan-Oprisu.
Brittany Smith from Yelp Indy says Yelpers love Northside Kitchenette as an eatery-option in Broad Ripple, especially when it comes to breakfast dishes.
“Broad Ripple is often known for the late night scene on the main drag but there are so many great businesses beyond that stretch. One of the top things Yelpers are loving about this place is the Kick Starter omelette, which is known for having a batch of horseradish cream in there,” explains Smith.
And, the Kitchen Sink breakfast dish is often mentioned in Yelp reviews … Yep, it’s exactly what you think!
“Literally, all breakfast items put into a bowl. Incredibly popular Sundays and a little more popular with the guys than the girls,” says Harlan-Oprisu.
If you’re in the mood for a lunch, try the Cuban sandwich or a fresh salad with quinoa. And, don’t forget that Bloody Mary!
“They are making the pickles in house so it stands out. You always got to have an extra kick in your Bloody Mary,” explains Smith.
There is also free WiFi in house if you are visiting for a working breakfast or lunch. On Tuesdays, Northside Kitchenette donates money to local charities for Give Back Tuesday. It’s a different charity every month!
