INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – CBS4 This Morning continues our Nicole in Your Neighborhood series with Yelp to give you an inside look at local businesses in our community.  Anchor Nicole Pence will bring you a new feature story every Wednesday on CBS4 This Morning.

This week, Nicole shows us a hot new spot in the wholesale district downtown Indianapolis that’s just as spicy at lunch time as it is during the evening.  Nada opened in February.

“Nada is an escape from the everyday,” explains Nada’s General Manager Dawn Hummel.

Nada translates to “nothing” in Spanish. It’s a play on words for one of downtown Indianapolis’ newest eateries.

“There is nothing like it,” says Hummel.

The tequila wall greets customers in the Cantina. The bottle wall helps start conversation.

“They are beer bottles that go through the wall into the women’s restroom,” says Hummel.

The interior alone is worth a visit with wrap-around booths, private seating and an open kitchen concept.

“One of the top reasons people love Nada is the actual vibe of it,” explains Brittany Smith from Yelp Indy.

Smith said Yelpers love the colorful spaces and the salsa trio.

“In particular, the habanero salsa, the yellow one. It has a spicy kick to it. People really like pairing that one,” says Smith.

The online reviews also highlight the crispy pork tacos with an egg, sunny-side up. And the cocktail menu is popular at lunch and dinner.

Smith adds, “If you are like me and like spicy, you will find habanero ingredients in there with salted rims that’s got a little spice. They are also using pears. They are known for Nadarita which is another known cocktail.”
