    JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. — Driver error is being investigated as a possible cause of an early Thursday morning semi cras in southeastern Johnson County. A semi traveling along Rocklane Road just west of Franklin Road around  5 a.m.  left the roadway and landed on its side in a ditch.     RIPLEY COUNTY, Ind. — A Batesville man is lucky to be alive after his truck was struck by a train in Ripley County on Monday. Indiana State Police arrested Eugene Gunter, 64,  after his truck  was stopped on the railroad tracks near the intersection of County Road  600 East near County Road 1350 North.     GRANT COUNTY, Ind. –Driver error may have played a part of a semi accident that occurred along southbound I-69 just past State Road 18 Tuesday morning.   • Dropped trash load and morning rains create messy situation on northwest side

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Investigators have yet to clarify what caused a trash truck to lose much of its load of garbage early Thursday morning along northbound Georgetown Road just north of 56th just after 4:00 a.m. The dumped load, coupled with the early morning rain, created a massive mess which forced officials to close the northbound lanes of Georgetown between 56th and 58th streets for about two hours for cleanup.

  • Downtown sinkhole finally repaired, streets to reopen

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. –A downtown sinkhole has finally been repaired and Indianapolis drivers will finally be able to travel through the city with no restrictions again starting at 8 p.m. Friday. The sinkhole developed at the intersection of Ohio Street and Pennsylvania on July 4th after a 100-year-old sewer line collapsed 15 feet beneath the surface.
