Max Lewis joined the CBS4 team in October 2021 as a reporter.
He comes from WSBT-TV in South Bend, Indiana, where he spent three years as a reporter and anchor.
During his time in South Bend, Max covered numerous national and international stories, including the presidential campaign of former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg and the nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the United States Supreme Court.
While Max comes from Northern Indiana, he is a native to the Indy area. Max graduated from Shelbyville High School and got his start in television while working on the school’s morning newscasts.
He went on to attend Ball State University, where he studied journalism and telecommunications.
Max is excited to be back in the Indy area and closer to his family. When he’s not working, he enjoys trying new restaurants and cheering on his favorite sports teams, including the Indianapolis Colts and IU Basketball.
