    Winds have shifted and will be from the southwest today which will help us all get well above freezing and in some cases close to 50 degrees this afternoon south of I-70.   • Temperatures stay in the 20s today with two more snow chances through Friday

    An arctic front crossed central Indiana overnight and as a result temperatures have dropped into the 20s and that is where we will stay for the rest of the day. Roadways were wet this morning due to a mixture of freezing rain and flurries. Black ice could pose a problem through the morning hours because temperatures will never get above freezing again today.     More clouds than sun will be with us today with a possible flurry.  Temperatures will rise into the 40s, but it won’t feel like the 40s due to winds gusting up to 30 mph during this afternoon and evening.     We had the coldest morning that we’ve seen all Fall this morning with lows in the mid teens and wind chills dropping as low as 2 degrees. It was a frigid start!     A strong cold front crossed the region overnight and brought us showers, thunderstorms and some very gusty winds.
