  • Zionsville man, 21, killed in crash; alcohol believed to be contributing factor

    ZIONSVILLE, Ind.—A 21-year-old man was killed in a crash early Thursday morning in Boone County. James Dupler was pronounced dead at St. Vincent’s Hospital following the crash that occurred after 1 a.m. on County Road 300 South, just west of US 421 in Boone County. When emergency crews arrived to the scene, they found Dupler and another man, 21-year-old Jack Kaplan, outside of the 2003 Ford Explorer.     GREENWOOD, Ind.—Officers with the Greenwood Police Department are looking for two females in connection with a theft investigation. According to the police report, officers responded to a Circle K on State Road 135 after a woman reported her debit cards were taken. The woman reported she accidentally left the cards on the counter after making purchases, and when she returned, the cards were missing.   • Police search for woman who used stolen credit card to buy $800 worth of gift cards

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman who used a stolen credit card to buy $800 worth of prepaid gift cards at a CVS. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the woman entered the CVS at 5920 S. Madison Avenue on April 13. The woman was described to have long, dark hair and was wearing glasses.
