  • State police cancel Silver Alert for Fort Wayne man

    ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. — Indiana State Police have canceled the Silver Alert for James Wilson Miller. WANE reported Miller was found safe. Someone saw him walking on Tillman Road Tuesday morning. He did not appear to be injured. State police issued the Silver Alert early Tuesday morning, saying Miller had last been scene in Fort Wayne around 6:55 p.m. Monday.

  • Hamilton County teen found safe; Silver Alert canceled

    HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. — A missing Hamilton County teenager who was the subject of a Silver Alert has been found. According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Ethan Taylor was located around after 5 a.m. Monday. Indiana State Police issued a Silver Alert overnight, saying Taylor hadn’t been seen since around 10 p.m. Sunday.

    MADISON COUNTY, Ind. – A motorcyclist from Alexandria was killed Sunday evening in a Madison County crash. Investigators were called to the scene on County Road 900 North, just east of County Road 425 East, shortly before 8:30 p.m. When first responders arrived, the driver of the motorcycle, 65-year-old Gary Durham, was pronounced dead at the scene.   • 3 people hurt in crash on Indy’s southeast side

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Three people were hurt in in a serious wreck on Indy’s southeast side early Monday morning. The crash happened shortly after midnight along Edgewood Avenue near the intersection of South Franklin Road. A car flipped on its roof, injuring three people. One of those people was ejected from the car. They were taken to Eskenazi Hospital, and their conditions are unknown. Police say the crash might be related to the driver over-correcting.

  • USPS semi-truck hits icy patch, crashes on I-65 near Raymond St.

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — A U.S. Post Office semi-trailer truck crashed early Friday in what investigators say was a weather-related incident. It happened on northbound I-65 near the Raymond St. exit. The USPS truck lost control and wound up on a safety barrier, hanging precariously over the embankment.
