Students help train shelter dogs

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Paws and Think Program held its graduation Friday at Warren Central High School.

Eleven students participated in the program and trained shelter dogs for the past week.

The program targets at-risk youth and has them teach the dogs basic obedience and manners using positive reinforcement. The program instills self-confidence in the students.

The program also makes the dogs easier to adopt.
