Riley nurse uses Play-Doh to make life-saving invention

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Abi Huskins, a nurse at Riley Children's Hospital, has made a life-saving invention out of a beloved children's toy.

Her son needs monthly blood transfusions, and keeping the port clean is very difficult. She decided to make her own with Play-Doh, a wine cork and an extra needle.

Huskins next goal is to mass produce the intervention.
