Water cascades into air from west side water main break

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – A water main break on the west side sent water into the air Thursday morning.

It happened at North Perimeter Road and South Hoffman Road near the Indianapolis International Airport.

Citizens Energy said the water main break is about 12 inches in diameter.

Crews managed to shut the water off and anticipated that repairs would take several hours.
