UPDATE: No injuries after shots fired at Carmel gas station

Friday’s altercation was between a 56-year-old man and a 21-year-old man. The 56-year-old fired two shots at the 21-year old’s tires and is being charged with two counts of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, two counts of pointing a firearm, intimidation, battery and disorderly conduct. The 21-year-old is not facing charges.


CARMEL, Ind.– Police say an argument at a Carmel gas station resulted in gunfire Friday.

It happened just after 9:30 a.m. at the Marathon gas station and Village Pantry convenience store at 106th Street and Michigan Road.

Carmel police on the scene said two men got into an argument, which turned into a physical fight. At some point, gunshots were fired.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

One person was taken into custody, and the other person involved fled the scene.
