2 critically injured in near northeast side shooting
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Metro police are investigating a double shooting on the near northeast side of Indianapolis.
Officers were called to the scene near the intersection of 35th Street and Caroline Ave. at about 7:40 p.m. Friday.
When police arrived, they say they found a man lying behind a vehicle that was parked in the intersection. A woman was reportedly lying on the ground on the passenger side.
IMPD says both victims were listed in critical condition and transported to local hospitals.
Police say they have minimal suspect information, but the person is said to be a black male that was in a four-door Malibu, possibly gray in color.
