FISHERS, Ind. – Crews in Fishers battled a large house fire Sunday night that officials are calling suspicious.

Crews were called to 106th St. and Hague Rd. around 7:30 p.m. after receiving multiple calls about the fire. Smoke could be seen as far away as the Castleton Square Mall.

More than two dozen firefighters arrived to find the home fully engulfed. The home is located in a wooded area with limited access, and firefighters had to drag over about a thousand feet of hand lines through the woods to reach the scene because a bridge was out.

The surrounding woods also caught fire, creating an additional hazard.

No one was hurt, officials said. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is assisting in the investigation.
