No one hurt after crash involving car, IFD truck on near east side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – An Indianapolis Fire Department truck was involved in a crash Monday morning.

According to Indianapolis Metropolitan police, the crash happened at Sherman Drive and Southeastern Avenue.

A red car collided with IFD Engine 15; the car bore the brunt of the damage. The road was closed for the investigation but later reopened.

The driver of the car was checked at the scene and released. Police said no one was hurt.
