Central, northern Indiana under Winter Weather Advisory through Saturday morning

Most of central Indiana is under a Winter Weather Advisory from 10 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Saturday morning. Wayne, Fayette, Union and Franklin counties are under a Freezing Rain Advisory until 8 a.m.

Hamilton County issued a yellow travel advisory, meaning routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation.

We'll see an inch of snow overnight combined with a tenth of an inch of ice. The wintry mix will change to rain Saturday morning. Up to a half-inch of rain is likely Saturday. As we cool down Saturday night rain will change to snow. Another inch of snow is possible by Sunday morning and snow showers will continue Sunday. We'll go from a high of 50 on Saturday to a high of 19 on Saturday.



A Winter Weather Advisory continues through 7am.



Freezing rain, sleet and snow will develop this evening.


11pm - Freezing rain and sleet mix with snow.



2am - Mix changes to rain


7am - Heavy rain likely


5pm - A few showers.


Heavy rain is likely Saturday.


We'll also see a chance for light snow early Sunday.


Rain and snow will move in by Wednesday.


Light snow is likely on Thursday.
