INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Officials say a Decatur Township school bus was involved in a crash Thursday while eight students were on board.
The crash occurred around 4:45 p.m. in the 8800 block of Belle Union Drive on the city’s southwest side, near Heartland Blvd. and Trotter Road. Police say a car was backing out of a driveway when it was struck by the bus.
All students on board were released to their parents at the scene. The driver of the car and a teenager inside the bus complained of pain, but declined transportation to the hospital.
