Man arrested after 3-day robbery spree in Lafayette

Keywan Moten

LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Police in Lafayette arrested a man they believe is responsible for a series of thefts this week.

Detectives believe Keywan Moten committed three robberies from Sunday through Tuesday, including two at Village Pantries and a third involving a pedestrian.

Police found Moten in a vehicle in the 800 block of South 4th Street and took him into custody on three counts of robbery.

He’s accused of the following crimes:

  • December 11th at 6 South 9th Street – Village Pantry
  • December 12th at 20 N 3rd Street – Pedestrian
  • December 13th at 1008 South 4th Street – Village Pantry

The case will be forwarded to the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
