A Snowy Tuesday

Brace yourself for a very active week of winter weather. Snow showers develop by 6am Tuesday and snow will fall during the morning rush hour. Light snow will fall through 3pm with up to an inch likely from Indy east to Richmond. Winds will be from the northwest at 10-15 mph. We’ll have a few flurries Wednesday morning. Another Arctic Blast will move in to make Thursday the coldest day of the season so far. A stronger system arrives Friday and will bring more snow that will chance rain Saturday and back to snow Saturday night through Sunday.


Low temps tonight will fall below freezing.


This will be the coldest week of the season so far.


Snow showers will develop by sunrise.


Snow will accumulate through the morning.


Snow showers will begin to taper off by lunchtime.


Snow will end in the afternoon.


Heaviest snow will fall across east central Indiana.


More snow is likely by Friday.


Snow will change to rain to start the weekend.


The weekend will end with snow.
