Winter Weather Advisory issued for parts of central Indiana

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for parts of central Indiana.


The advisories go in to effect Saturday night and continue through early Monday morning.  Snow is expected to move in to the northern third of the state later this evening and again Sunday.  Some accumulation is expected.  This will also cause roads to be slick at times.

Winter Storm Warnings will be in effect Saturday night through early Monday morning for northern Indiana. (Counties in pink.)


Initial forecasts call for 6″ to 10″ of snow in the warning area.
