VIDEO: Wayne Township fourth graders sing state’s song to kindergarten students

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – This may be the cutest Indiana bicentennial celebration video yet.

These fourth graders at Garden City Elementary School in Wayne Township celebrated the Indiana’s special birthday by learning the state’s song, “On the Banks of the Wabash, Far Away.”

After a little bit of practice, they serenated the kindergarten class.

The students in at Garden City Elementary also had a very special Hoosier lunch to celebrate the bicentennial with pulled pork, Hoosier green beans, Indiana squash with maple syrup, Indian corn bread, and apple compote.
