We are tracking a weather system Saturday night that will impact central Indiana Sunday.  This system will bring rain, and the chance for a rain/snow mix.

Above is one of our FutureView computer models.  It brings in rain and the wintry mix to central Indiana late Sunday morning through Sunday night.

While the majority of precipitation will fall as rain and the ground remains above freezing, I would not be surprised if we get a few reports of a dusting of snow on grass and elevated surfaces.

Temperatures are expected to drop to -30° by Sunday morning in the Alaska interior.  A "chunk" of that cold air will come down through Canada and eventually land in the Midwest.

Temperatures will likely be falling throughout the day Thursday.  The 33° you see on the 7-day forecast will likely occur early Thursday.  Afternoon temperatures will likely be in the 20°s.  Wind chills will likely be in the teens.
