Police identify man found dead inside Johnson County home

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind–Police have released the identity of a man found dead inside his Johnson County home Friday.

50-year-old Andrew Perry was found unresponsive on the floor of his home in the 2900 block of Cadogan Drive.

It was originally thought Perry had suffered a medical emergency.  However, the garage door and a door leading into the home were left open.

Following an autopsy, Johnson County Coroner Craig Lutz determined the cause of death is “blunt force trauma to the head.”

Johnson County Sheriff Doug Cox the case is being pursued as a homicide.

Investigators continue to follow up on leads and are interviewing those who were last seen with Perry.
