LOUISVILLE, Ky. – U.S. Marshals located a man wanted in connection with the disappearance of an Indiana woman in Florida, but the woman remains missing, police say.

The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force located Jarvis Madison Friday in Louisville, Ky. He’s been taken into custody on an arrest warrant from Indiana State Police.

Madison’s vehicle, a silver 2011 Honda Pilot, has been impounded. Police have been looking for him since his estranged wife, Rachael L. Madison, 44, disappeared in Florida last weekend. Rachael Madison had moved to Ormond-by-the-Sea, Fla., to distance herself from her estranged husband.

She was last seen leaving home on Rivocean Drive between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday to go for a jog at the beach. She never came back home. Investigators said she didn’t have money or a cell phone with her when she left for the run.

Investigators believed Rachael may be with her estranged husband. However, they say she hasn’t been located and remains missing even after Jarvis Madison’s arrest.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call (386) 323-0151 or Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida toll-free at (888) 277-TIPS.
