Guns, drugs seized after police arrest suspect on east side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Indianapolis police seized guns, drugs and money while serving a search warrant on the east side Thursday.

The warrant was served in the 3400 block of Seine Court, near East 33rd Street and North Post Road.

Officers identified and detained a suspect, 27-year-old Daryl Reed, without incident. Reed is suspected of drug dealing.

During a search of the residence, more than 200 grams of suspected cocaine was seized. Authorities said the drugs were worth $20,000 on the street. Four handguns and two rifles were also seized.

Reed faces preliminary charges of dealing and possession of cocaine and possession of a handgun by a serious violent felon.
