INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – If you’re looking to adopt a cat or dog in Indianapolis, there’s no better time than this weekend. The Humane Society of Indianapolis is waiving its adoption fees from Nov. 24 to Nov. 28.

The “Pawlidayz” deal is part of the shelter’s partnership with Zappos.com.

“We’re very grateful for the opportunity to partner with Zappos and Best Friends Animal Society,” said Kristen McGuire, Director of Customer Experience for the Humane Society of Indianapolis. “Every animal should have a home for the holidays, and we’re hopeful this event will help us find loving homes for all our current shelter residents.”

Due to the adoption event, the shelter will operate under adjusted hours:

Thursday, November 24: closed for thanksgiving

Friday, November 25: 1:00pm – 4:00pm (first day of event)

Saturday, November 26: 11:00am – 2:00pm

Sunday, November 27: 11:00am – 2:00pm

Monday, November 28: 1:00pm – 4:00pm (final day of event)

The shelter is located at 7929 N Michigan Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46268.
