INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Each year on the day after Thanksgiving, Indianapolis hosts the “Circle of Lights,” presented by the Contractors of Quality Connection and Electrical Workers of IBEW 481.

Santa Claus and Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett will be on hand to usher in the holiday season and flip the lights on with a lucky child chosen via a coloring contest.

The lights are set to go on at 7:55 p.m. The 242-foot display centerpiece on Monument Circle has 4,784 lights and 52 garland strands.

After the lighting, there will be a fireworks show. Toy soldiers and peppermint sticks will encircle the monument.
