TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. — A late night crash on I-65 just south of State Road 38 in Tippecanoe County between a jeep and a semi closed the entire interstate for about an hour Wednesday night just after 9:30 p.m.

Police reported that the collision between the jeep and semi put both vehicles on their side and closed all of the northbound lanes for about an hour. Officials were able to open one lane just after 10:30 p.m. while continuing the clean-up.

While neither driver sustained serious injuries, the cleanup crew had to contend with off loading the semi which was carrying pork products.

All lanes of the interstate were re-opened by 3:30 a.m. Thursday .
