INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.--  Indianapolis averages eight, 1” snows per season. Indianapolis averages 25.9” of snow total per season.

After analyzing long-range climate and weather data, I am predicting a colder-than-average winter and a snowier-than-average winter for all of central Indiana. I think the accumulating snows will start in December and continue through mid-March.

I am predicting ten, 1” or more snowfalls this winter in Indianapolis.

So that everyone can verify the snows, I will use the official snowfall amount measured by the Indianapolis National weather Service office on West Hanna Road. On air, we'll be showing a board where each day can be crossed off.

Follow along this season to see if I get it right!
