Donald Trump projected to win Indiana, CBS News reports
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– CBS News says Donald Trump is projected to win Indiana in the 2016 presidential election.
According to exit polling data, 58% of Indiana men voted for Trump, 35% voted for Clinton and 5% voted for Gary Johnson. For Indiana women, 44% voted for Clinton, while 50% voted for Trump and 4% voted for Johnson.
Voters between the ages of 18-29 voted more for Clinton, while voters between 45-64 years old voted more for Trump.
For Indiana voters with a high school education or less, 64% voted for Trump and 33% voted for Clinton. For postgraduates, 54% voted for Clinton and 39% voted for Trump.
