Court docs: Indiana woman encouraged underage girl to expose themselves to strangers online
PERU, Ind. – A Miami woman who performed sex acts while men watched her online encouraged underage girls to expose themselves as well, police say.
The investigation began in August after two girls said Melissa Elpers exposed herself via web cameras to men online while they were at her house, according to court documents.

The girls said Elpers tried to get them to follow suit, encouraging them to “pull up their shirts and show their breasts to the camera.” The girls didn’t engage in the behavior, they said.
The girls also said Elpers offered them alcohol while they were at her house and interacted with strangers on the website “Omegle.”
Police obtained an arrest warrant for Elpers, who was arrested Tuesday on two felony counts of performing sexual conduct in the presence of a minor. Elpers was booked into the Miami County Jail.
