One more summer-like day before we cool down

Indianapolis averages 100, 80-degree days per year. Monday was day 112 and Tuesday will be day 113. We will be close to setting a record high on Tuesday with a forecast high of 84. A couple of strong t-storms are also possible Tuesday evening before cooler weather moves in for the rest of the week. Highs will be in the 70s with scattered t-storms on Wednesday. We'll have a windy, wet Thursday with highs in the 60s and we'll continue to cool down with highs in the 50s on Friday.


So far this fall has been mild.


Temperatures will be well above average Tuesday.


We will see more frost later this week.


A few strong t-storms are possible Tuesday evening.


T-storms will be more widespread Wednesday afternoon.


Showers are likely Thursday.


We'll have a dry, chill Friday.


Our cool air will stay through the weekend.
