Carmel police searching for man accused of breaking into car, using stolen credit card

CARMEL, Ind.– Police say someone broke into a vehicle in Carmel and then used the victim’s credit card in Indianapolis.

The incident occurred on Sept. 11 in the 400 block of Beverly Court. Several items, including the victim’s wallet, were stolen.

According to police, The suspect made several fraudulent purchases with a stolen credit card at various fast food places in Indianapolis.

The suspect, described by police as a white male, was driving a white Chevrolet City Express cargo van that may have damage to the front bumper.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Carmel Police Department Investigations Division at 317-571-2511 or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477 (TIPS).
