INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Community Hospital North has suspended the use of six of its operating rooms to conduct air quality testing.

In a release sent out Monday, the hospital said the Joint Commission identified a potential issue related to discoloration of ceiling tiles and walls in the operating room corridor area.

The hospital said the use of the rooms impacted will be suspended until tests can confirm that any potential safety issue is resolved.

“Community is committed to ensuring the safety of our patients and their families, our employees and our physicians,” said the hospital.
