Today will be a beautiful day with abundant sunshine, low humidity, light wind and temperatures in the upper 70s. You can leave the umbrella home today!

Temperatures will go up into the 80s each afternoon, after today through Friday.

Our next rain chances are Friday and Saturday.  Shower chances will go up very LATE on Friday into Saturday, but we're not looking at large precipitation amounts. However, we will see a large drop in temperatures heading into the weekend.  We'll go from highs in the 80s to highs in the 60s by Saturday and Sunday with lows in the 40s by Sunday and Monday!

Hurricane Matthew will makes landfall on Haiti as a powerful Category 4 hurricane.  Maximum sustained winds are ~145 mph with gusts near 190 mph. Storm surge will be around 10-15 feet with up to 40" of rain in spots. This will be catastrophic for Haiti today.  To put 40" of rain into perspective, that is how much we see in a YEAR in Indy!  The latest storm track does bring Matthew further west and could impact Florida and the eastern seaboard of the US later this week.
