Temperatures in the 80s are on their way

A warm up will begin across central Indiana on Tuesday. We ‘ll have morning fog with a sunny, breezy afternoon. A weather system out west will soon move this way and bring a chance for rain. Energy from Hurricane Matthew will slow our next weather system down and will give us a daily chance for rain to end the week.


Patchy dense fog is likely Tuesday morning.


Warmer temps are in the forecast for the rest of the week.


Light rain is possible late Wednesday through Thursday.


Rain will linger through the day Friday.


The rain will end Saturday morning and cooler air will settle in for the weekend.


We’re not expecting major rain this week.


Hurricane Matthew is a category 4 hurricane with sustained winds of 140 mph and is moving north at 6 miles per hour.  Extreme flash flooding and mudslides are likely from the 15-25 inches of rain the storms will bring to Haiti, Jamaica, Cubs and the Dominican Republic.


At this time Matthew is not expected make landfall on the US. mainland.
