We have a very warm and dry week ahead of us

We are just two days away from Fall, but there is no Fall weather showing up in our seven-day forecast. Instead it will be a very warm week with temperatures in the mid to upper 80s through the weekend.

We do have a Knozone Action Day today.  These are issued when elevated ozone levels are present. Due to the very light winds and warm temperatures, the air becomes stagnant, and as a result the air quality becomes poor. Those who have asthma or other respiratory issues should limit outdoor activities today.

We will have a front cross the state later this afternoon, but this will be a DRY frontal passage.  All we'll see from it is a brief increase of cloud cover by the mid-late afternoon hours.

We have no rain in the forecast through Sunday! Our next rain chance arrives Monday.
