Rain for the final weekend of Summer

The final weekend of Summer is here and it will begin with heavy rain and scattered t-storms. Tonight through Saturday we'll have 40-50 mph wind gusts along with small hail and lightning as the storms move across the state. The rain will end early on Sunday. For next week we'll have a warming trend for the countdown to fall. Highs will be in the 80s through Wednesday before the 90s return on Thursday and Friday.


This is the final weekend of Summer.



Heavy rain is likely Saturday morning.



We'll have scattered t-storms Saturday afternoon.


After a wet Saturday, we'll have dry weather on Sunday.


An inch of rain is likely this weekend.
