Well, we should say he’s in a six-way tie for the league lead heading into Week 2 of the NFL season.

Still, there’s no denying that Doyle, seeing increased playing time this season with Coby Fleener gone, had a tremendous impact in Sunday’s loss against the Detroit Lions.

The Colts re-signed Doyle in the offseason. The team originally acquired him by claiming him off waivers from the Tennessee Titans in 2013. The Titans had signed him as an undrafted free agent out of Western Kentucky.
