Indianapolis police locate 55-year-old man reported missing

UPDATE: Officers say they located Ghazi Jaber safe Thursday evening.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a man who went missing after leaving work because he did not feel well on September 9.

Police say Ghazi Jaber, 55, recently had to have surgery to have part of his intestines removed, then had to have another surgery to stop internal bleeding.

We’re told that Jaber is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs around 150 pounds and has balding black hair. He was last seen driving a green 1996 Acura with the plate number 297MJR.

If you know of Jaber’s whereabouts, you’re asked to call police at 911 or the IMPD Missing Persons Unit at (317) 327-6160.
