IMPD identifies 22-year-old woman found shot to death inside car

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indianapolis Metropolitan police say a 22-year-old woman died after being found shot inside a car on the far east side Wednesday morning.

IMPD identified the woman as Tiara Roberson, 22, Indianapolis. Detectives were following up on several leads but haven’t released information about suspects in the case.

One neighbor told investigators she heard gunshots Tuesday night and saw the car pull up in front of their home. Roberson was found inside the bullet-riddled car around 8 a.m. Wednesday near Montery Road and Delmont Drive.

Police were working to piece together what sparked the violence. This was the second murder in the same neighborhood in less than a month.
