Man injured in shooting on northeast side
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Police responded to a shooting Tuesday evening on the city’s northeast side.
The shooting occurred near North Post Road and East 38th Street around 7:30 p.m.
Police say a 28-year-old man was sitting in his car when someone walked up and began firing. He was shot in the face and leg.
The victim drove his car to a nearby Walgreens parking lot to get help. He was alert and conscious, but taken to the hospital in critical condition.
No suspect description has been released.
