WEWOKA, OK – A couple is celebrating 57 years of marriage with a photo shoot inspired by the movie “The Notebook.” And the couple’s love is so inspiring, their photos went viral!

Stacy Welch-Christ of Mary Evelyn Photography told FOX59 she always wanted to do a photo shoot with a spotlight on “legacy.”

She’s known Clemma and Sterling Elmore for a while since they are her sister-in-law’s grandparents, and she says their love is so bountiful and inspiring. So she asked them to do the photo shoot with her.

“Sweet as they are, they have lots of love to share, so this was a tribute to them and their love,” said Welch-Christ.

They chose “The Notebook” as the theme since it’s a movie that everyone knows and loves, and it’s one of Clemma’s favorites. During the photo shoot, Clemma even shared some of her favorite love notes Sterling has written to her over the years.

Welch-Christ says the attention the photos have received is overwhelming and inspiring. “I think we are shocked, and at the same time we are so happy that this kind of attention is happening to such great people.”

Since Welch-Christ posted the photos on her Facebook page on September 3, they have been shared over 32,000 times.
