BLOOMINGTON, Ind.– Six Indiana University football players didn’t suit up Thursday night for the team’s season opener against Florida International University.

Jake Attar, Simmie Cobbs Jr., Chase Dutra, Ralph Green III and Noel Padmore were suspended only for Thursday night’s game. In April, Green was arrested on charges of battery, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Wesley Green was also suspended, but officials said his was indefinite.

The suspensions were due to “not living up to their responsibilities to the program at different times since the conclusion of the 2015 season,” according to  Senior Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations Jeff Keag.
