Colts coach Chuck Pagano talks exclusively to Indy Sports Central ahead of last preseason game

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Thursday is the Indianapolis Colts final preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Because of that, it’s a Blue Thursday in Indiana!

Ahead of the game, Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano sat down with Indy Sports Central to talk about the upcoming season.

“We’ve had some really good days, we’ve been able to evaluate a ton of players,” Pagano said. “We’re really looking forward to this last ball game and getting into the regular season mode. So it’s been a challenge but, you know, I’m proud of the way the guys worked, the way they’ve come together.”

A 10-day Countdown to Kickoff starts on Thursday as well, running from the final preseason game through the September 11 home opener.

It all starts with Blue Thursday on Sept. 1.

Then, on Friday, Sept. 2, fans can check out the oversized Colts helmet on Monument Circle.

Friday, Sept. 9, is the Blueing of the Canal. Blue Fridays also begin then.

Next Saturday, Sept. 10, is the free Colts kickoff concert with Clayton Anderson opening and the Eli Young Band headlining.

Then Sunday, Sept. 11, is game day with Touchdown Town starting at 1 p.m. before a 4:25 p.m. kickoff against the Detroit Lions.
