INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Thousands of people are without power after storms ripped through central Indiana Friday morning.

The storms produced hail and heavy winds. As a result, trees were knocked down into the streets creating a difficult commute for many residents.

Several counties were briefly under a tornado warning despite the fact that tornado sirens sounded an hour before the warnings were issued.
