Damage from tornadoes that hit Kokomo on Aug. 26, 2016

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The devastation and cleanup effort in Kokomo following Wednesday’s tornadoes cancelled a football game, but won’t keep players from the two high schools from springing to action.

Instead of competing against each other this evening at Lucas Oil Stadium, players from Kokomo and Hamilton Heights are converging at Kokomo High School at 4 o’clock. From there, they’ll visit areas impacted by the storms and offer their assistance.

The Indianapolis Colts, meanwhile, are providing tickets and concession vouchers to Saturday’s preseason game with the Philadelphia Eagles to the Kokomo football team, including family members and coaches. They also will be recognized during pre-game ceremonies.
