While today won't be a wash out you will need to keep the umbrella nearby today with highs in the mid 80s with higher humidity.
A couple of isolated showers will be possible north of Indy through 9am. T-storms will be the most widespread between 9am and 3pm and we'll keep a few spotty storms around through the evening drive. Storms will be capable of producing pea size hail and 40-50 mph wind gusts. While most storms should stay below severe criteria--we can't rule out an isolated severe storm throughout the day.
The heaviest rain will arrive in Indy in time for the lunch hour.
The cold front won't cross our area until early Friday, so we'll keep T-storms in the forecast through Thursday night. Most will see 0.5" to 1" through Thursday night. Some could be strong-severe on Thursday as well. We go back to the 90s with higher humidity by the second half of the weekend.
