Madison County Sheriff’s Department investigating fatal crash

MADISON COUNTY, Ind. – The Madison County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fatal crash that happened on County Road 200 East around 6:35 p.m. Saturday.

A person following the victim, Louanne Beasley, 53, called 911 to report the driver’s erratic behavior and high-speed driving.

Deputies say Beasley’s white Buick left the east side of the roadway around 120 feet prior to striking a utility pole.

We’re told Beasley appeared to suffer a serious head injury and was pronounced dead at the scene by the corners office. She was wearing a seat belt.

The sheriff’s crash team is investigating and will await a toxicology report before finalizing the investigation.
